Project Description
Triangle creates and delivers waste reduction and recycling education programs for students grades K-8 within Republic Services Snohomish County service area. These programs introduce students, their schools, and their families to recycling best practices and the importance of waste reduction and recycling at home and at school. The programs include a fun and interactive library theater presentation for grades K-1, hands-on classroom workshops for grades 2-8, and assistance for schools that would like to implement or expand their waste reduction and recycling programs. Each program integrates the importance of practicing the 4Rs (Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle) and teaches participants how to properly recycle at home and at school.
